THE Mat Rental Company is pleased to announce the opening
of their second location in Jemison, Alabama. THE Mat Rental
Company's second address is 15237 County Road 29, Jemison,
AL 35085. We have a large inventory of mats of all sizes.
The History of THE Mat Rental Company
Vincent A. Morano, Chairman, who was the founder and president of Essex Crane
Company for over 40 years, announced the opening of a new crane mat rental company
serving the greater Houston and gulf-states market in September of 2004.
The Mat Rental Company’s new 18 acre/12,500 square foot distribution/warehouse
facility is in Liverpool, Texas. Vince Morano stated, "I look forward to providing the market with the finest
mats available anywhere, the best service possible and competitive pricing. These mats
are made from an exceptionally strong species of tropical hardwood that is found only in
a small corner of South America. The result is that our mats are twice as strong as 100%
oak mats. No doubt about it!".
Our standard-size mats are 12, 16, 20, 26, 30 and 36 feet long by four-feet wide.
The Mat Rental Company’s initial focus is going to be on supplying mats for the heavy lift crawler
market and also as storage supports for any heavy lift category, but other service opportunities will
be considered as well. If you have a problem, we’ll help figure out the best solution. In terms of
the geographic market that the new company intends to pursue, we are going to concentrate on the immediate
gulf-state region in the near term; however, as demand warrants, we have enough mats to support large jobs
anywhere in the country.
